The documents revealed evidence including fictional stories the suspect wrote about child abductions, Skype messages to other paedophiles, and photographic evidence placing Brueckner at key locations. Pattison also uncovered incriminating insurance records and discovered the existence of a hard drive and laptop thought to contain photographic evidence central to the case. 

His persistence led to additional exclusives, including an interview with an ex-cop who revealed she paid for Brueckner’s early release due to concerns over his human rights.
