Hannah Thaxter

Hannah is a former editor of the Yorkshire Evening Post and Honorary Fellow in Journalism at Leeds Trinity University. She spent 30 years in newspaper journalism in Yorkshire, before moving to the southern Hebrides. Here she enjoys more free time but also works as a freelance journalist and content creator for the likes of Bruichladdich Distillery as well as working part-time as a digital commercial content writer for National World, marking journalism exams for the NCTJ and working for the local tourism marketing group Explore Islay and Jura.
