Heather Brooke

Heather Brooke is an investigative journalist and former academic, best known for lifting the lid on the UK Parliamentary expenses scandal and campaigning for Freedom of Information. She was co-chair of the 2023 Awards.  She has published three non-fiction books and now writes novels. She was Professor and Director of the MA Investigative Journalism course at City, University of London and an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University in New York City.
