Karl Holbrook

I started as a trainee reporter on my hometown newspaper Chorley Guardian before working in newsrooms from Edinburgh to London. I have been editor of The Northern Echo, Bolton News, Lancashire Telegraph and am now Executive Editor of the Daily Express, where as a member of the senior leadership team I take a keen interest in integration projects and new launches. I am passionate about campaigning and launched Johnston Press' Big Cities content group responsible for running campaigns and investigations across Johnston Press' biggest UK daily titles.
