Richard Bowyer

I have been involved in the journalism industry for the past 38 years. I was an award-winning journalist who rose from the ranks from starting as a junior reporter at a weekly newspaper to becoming Editor-in-Chief of Staffordshire Sentinel Newspapers. Since then I have spent the last seven years teaching journalism to the next generation of journalists at the University of Derby. While at university I have written academic paper on my specilaist field, the regional newspaper industry.
