Richard joined DMGT in 2010 as a freelance reporter for Mail Online. He swiftly gained recognition and rose to become assistant news editor. After a brief time at the Mirror he returned to the company in 2014 as Head of News for Metro.co.uk and is now the website's Executive Editor.
